Welcome to My Homepage!

The most important thing that has happened in my life is when Jesus Christ entered my life and I was born-again.  I was saved on July 4th 1992 and was baptized on July 12th, 1992.

Currently I am a teacher at Upton Lake Christian School in Clinton Corners, NY and have been teaching there for 14 years.  I teach all the science classes grade 7-12.  (Life Science, General Science, Introductory Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)  Being a small school I am also called to teach a class or two in addition to the three science classes I teach each year.  So over the years I have taught Health, Pre-Algebra, Business Math, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Physical Education, Computer, and Bible.  I have also been involved in the sports program at Upton Lake Christian School as a referee and coach.

I attended SUNY Potsdam and transferred to SUNY Oneonta, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology and Science Secondary Education.  I have a Masters of Biology from SUNY New Paltz.

I have completed the Science on the Move program at Marist College in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  In this program teams of teachers wrote labs for high school science classes integrating technology and using inquiry based learning strategies.  These labs were also matched to the NYS learning standards.  I also participated in the Dutchess County BOCES Learning Technology Grant; Our Hudson Valley: A Living Environment.  I wrote a lab that was peer reviewed and later published.  I was selected for the Who's Who Among Americas Teachers, 9th edition, 2004-2005.
